Legislative Support in PNG

The Legislative Support in PNG Project is Implemented by the Office of Legislative Council (OLC). The OLC is located within the Department of Prime Minister, is the focal point bewteen the executive and legislative arms of government in the overall legislative process. Almost all legislation introduced by the government and passed by the Parliament emanate from the OLC. Although located within the executive branch of government, the office performs a crucial function for the legislative arm of government through the provision of constitutional laws and bills which are passed for state governance.
